But Logan can breathe when he rights himself again, even if the light has a watery filter to it and the voices have a distant echo. // Sometimes Logan gets a glimpse of guys who've been long gone from the teal, clustered at the far end of the bench or sitting in the box across the ice. He heard Jason's voice in the hallway loud and clear, that infectious laugh. And he could have sworn he saw Raffi fucking Torres getting out of a car in the players' lot. Something tells him not to look up the rosters.

#as i am sure has been very obvious i have been incredibly unwell this year for a variety of reasons #and i read that fic right after my uncle died suddenly and unexpectedly so i was thinking a lot about hospice while i was reading it #and i was going to about 8 million sharkuda games per week to just not be at home bc everything has fallen apart there #(also for a variety of reasons. but there is a lot of intense grief over my stepsister's death involved)#so today having signed a lease on an apartment on the entire other side of the country to be closer to career stuff and #get a fresh start and a hopefully happier and more stable life (even if a huge move and a career change makes me nervous)#while also the first thing said to me is that another family member had passed this morning (expectedly) and a relative #who became very sick recently (unexpectedly) and who due to advanced age does not have a great prognosis #it became a uniquely precious gift to have this completed and sent to me by imp this afternoon.#the fic + the ensuing games of seeing that reel hit a very tender part of me that has dealt with death and instability my entire life #and it is amazing to see an image of logan's similar loss and instability so perfectly realized!!#his troubled face!! the way it feels both underwater and in another world!! the lights all around that could be anything!!#looking up at the indistinct faces of his teammates who could be so so many people at this point but who he misses nonetheless!!#also PLEASE zoom in on the mist - the texturing and color gradients are SO cool. and the reflection on his helmet is so sick #the color scheme in this is freaking amazing and i just love it all so much man!!!#anyway i don't have a concluding thought. i was going to make this into a puzzle (i'm back on my bullshit)#but i will probably get it printed and framed too #if any of u come visit me know. know that your chances of seeing haunted logan couture are non-zero #and he could be ANYWHERE #art #san jose sharks #logan couture

Nobody else on earth cares about this but i cannot understand why artists draw phoenix wright with brown/blue heterochromia and it mildly annoys me when i see it

#i get that it's to kind of reconcile with canon that his eye color changed between games but #it really didn't that much #they are never brown or blue #they are completely black to different shades of dark grey #like if you were to take very dark eyes and render them under different lighting conditions #anyway if you draw phoenix like 🟤🔵 that's totally fine and you can do whatever you want #I'm like just. who is this man i don't know him

I’m just going to come out and say it I think tai lung is getting a redemption in kfp 4

#the reason really all comes down to one shot in the trailer #when the chameleon summons him through the portal and the scene is completely flooded with bright golden light #this might not seem significant but these movies actually have color symbolism that they use very consistently #basically any time a color is prominent in a shot it means something #anyways in the kfp color symbolism gold represents heroism #it’s why po is often shown with gold tinges or in gold light #also probably why tigress switches to a yellow outfit #in kfp 1 tai lung is almost always shown with blue lighting #and blue represents evil #so the fact that this movie is showing him with extremely prominent gold light is definitely alluding to a change in his morality #some people are saying he’s going to have to reluctantly team up with po to fight the chameleon and redeem himself in the process #but I actually disagree I think he’s going to already be redeemed once he appears #bc the scene in the trailer is most likely his first appearance in the movie #also it seems like they’re already doing that redemption through reluctant alliance with po and zhen #my working theory is that tai lung has been reflecting on everything that happened while he’s in the spirit realm and realized…#…where he went wrong and wants to do better #I’m so normal about these movies guys

I haven't posted about AEB in ages, but I think that my favorite part about how I characterized the y/n (on a whim mind you) is that:

If they hadn't had Amnesia, they would understand the severity of their situation. They'd know that the were forced to commit atrocities on people, in order to avoid committing atrocities on others. They destroyed their ship by mistake, but in the end it prevented those people from harming life on a planet that wasn't theirs to harm. They didn't act out of good for everyone, but they refused to keep committing horrible acts in the name of science. They were prosecuted, first and foremost, for not doing as they were told. When they rebuttaled, it was the system's downfall because they had to take drastic measures.

But because they have amnesia, and their audio logs were either destroyed on purpose or glitched from planetary interference, y/n has no idea. They know that there's blood on their hands. They see the wreckage of the ship float past on an average basis. It's nothing *new*. They just don't know why they did it. Why they killed people. They're under the impression that *they* were the root of the problem. The bad seed. The only thing keeping them from giving themselves up is a desperate feeling of belonging on the planet. Belonging to the Entity that they so fear just below the surface. They don't understand that what they did saved its life. And in turn, it would save theirs.
